Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)

Depending on how low the family’s net income is, they can apply for grants and bonds from the government through this program up to the age of 49. People can make personal contributions to the grant up to the age 59.  To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Have a Social Insurance Number AND
  • Be eligible for the Disability Tax Credit AND
  • to qualify for federal contributions, you must be up-to-date with filing your income tax returns in the last two years
